Starting up

Hey you.

I'm just really excited you found me. It's really cool how things like this work. Honestly, blog is as much for you as it is for me, and for God's glory. Stay around if you like and join with me in my naive and rambling pursuit of biblical truths. I'll try to update once a week, and any support will keep me moving along. If you want, you can join in my discussion with these ancient texts... but please don't troll (my defn: being malicious for fun). I hope any discusions that may come up will be driven by a respect for others and an honest thirst for the truth.

Bible doesn't like being toyed with...

In my analysis of the Bible I am assuming that it is God's divine word, and I am not questioning its validity. That is my faith. The truth is, though, it doesn't feel real enough to me. Sometimes I pick up the Bible in all seriousness and pray to God for a revelation, and *bam!* the most meaningful passage hits me full in the face. Then I'm like, "aw cool! God has directly spoken to my life situation through this text!" and I'm a bit more cheerful because of it, but this is not enough for me anymore. I believe the Bible is a text that is constantly crying out to us to be read, ready to speak to us in ways that resonate fully with our souls.

Gosh, I just gotta pick it up and read it... But hey, this is why this blog exists.
